BEYOND STANDARDS: EUROVITI’S ROTOR REGENERATION FOR CONTINUOUS MIXERS

We specialize in the creation and regeneration of complex components, such as rotors for continuous mixers, offering tailor-made solutions focused on maximum efficiency and durability.

With a strong commitment to circular economy principles and resource reuse, we provide our customers with a comprehensive refurbishment service — a true added value in terms of both performance and sustainability. The use of high-resistance materials, such as carbide and tungsten, ensures exceptional component longevity even after the regeneration process.

In this project, we completed the full refurbishment of an 8” rotor pair intended for a continuous mixer used in compound production.

The activities performed included:

Washing and sandblasting
Welding of worn areas
Tungsten carbide overlay on the process zone and flanks
Molybdenum overlay on the shafts
Restoration of the cylindrical seats on the shafts
Final precision grinding
Polishing of the external process diameter

Thanks to these highly specialized processes, the rotors were restored to optimal working conditions, ready to meet new production challenges.
