In response to the needs of the food market, Euroviti has introduced significant innovations in materials and coatings used. For the screws, the traditional solution of Fe510+ chrome steel has been replaced with quenched and tempered stainless steels.

This new material, certified for food use, ensures greater durability of components thanks to its excellent technical and mechanical properties.

Similarly, for compression barrels, Euroviti has transitioned from Fe510 steel to a bimetallic material. The inside of the barrel is coated with a Nickel-based alloy, with hardnesses of 52/54 HRC, giving the barrel superior resistance to wear and corrosion. This solution is also certified for use in the food sector.
